Add plus 1-1/2 tsp. instant coffee garanules to shopping list 2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 tsp. instant coffee garanules

Add skim milk to shopping list 1-1/2 tablespoons skim milk

Add light brown sugar, packed to shopping list 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed

Add granulated sugar to shopping list 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Add margarine to shopping list 1/4 cup margarine

Add egg to shopping list 1 egg

Add almond extract to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Add all-purpose flour, sifted to shopping list 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

Add wheat flakes to shopping list 1/4 cup wheat flakes

Add ground cinnamon to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Add baking powder to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Dissolve coffee granules in milk.

In large bowl, beat brown sugar, granulated sugar and margarine until smooth and creamy. Beat in egg, almond extract and coffee mixture. Combine flour, wheat flakes, cinnamon and baking powder; gradually beat flour mixture into sugar mixture.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet; flatten with back of fork. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
