Bacon Cheese Strips

Yield: 2 dozen strips

Ingredients

Add mayonnaise to shopping list 1/3 cup mayonnaise

Add egg, beaten to shopping list 1 egg, beaten

Add Worcestershire sauce to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Add ground mustard to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon ground mustard

Add hot pepper sauce to shopping list 5 drops hot pepper sauce

Add black pepper to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Add (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese to shopping list 4 ounces (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese

Add bacon, cooked and crumbled to shopping list 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Add bread, crusts removed and toasted to shopping list 8 slices bread, crusts removed and toasted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper sauce, black pepper and shredded cheese; mix well. Stir in bacon.

Spread over toast. Cut each slice of toast into three strips. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until cheese is melted.
