Giant Spice Cookies

Yield: 10 cookies

Ingredients

Add spice cake mix to shopping list 1 pkg. spice cake mix

Add ground ginger to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Add baking soda to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Add water to shopping list 1/4 cup water

Add molasses to shopping list 1/4 cup molasses

Add vanilla to shopping list 6 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the cake mix, ginger and baking soda. Stir in water, molasses and vanilla; mix well. With floured hands, roll into 10 balls. Place 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly and bake at 375 degrees for 13 - 15 minutes or until surface cracks and cookies are firm. Remove to wire racks to cool.
