Add Worcestershire sauce to shopping list 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Add ice water to shopping list 1/2 cup ice water

Add Sauce: to shopping list Sauce:

Add (8 oz.) tomato sauce to shopping list 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Add water to shopping list 1/4 cup water

Add Worcestershire sauce to shopping list 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Add minced onion to shopping list 1 tablespoon minced onion

Add minced green pepper to shopping list 2 tablespoons minced green pepper

Add minced celery to shopping list 2 tablespoons minced celery

Directions:

Hamburger:
Combine meat with salt and pepper. Mix Worcestershire with ice water and pour over meat. Blend thoroughly and shape into 8 patties. Broil or pan-fry hamburgers quickly to desired degree of doneness. Serve hot with sauce.

Sauce:
Combine all ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
